  • Claimant deadline to submit Form 6156

    Monday, March 31, 2025
    Claimants must complete and return the notarized Notice of Intent to Claim Interest in Foreclosure Sales Proceeds (Form 6156) to the Wayne County Treasurer by March 31, 2025.
  • Deadline to provide claimant with a notice of foreclosed property details

    Tuesday, July 01, 2025
    The Wayne County Treasurer's Office will provide each claimant a notice by July 1, 2025 that will contain the details of the foreclosed property necessary to file a motion with the circuit court.
  • Claimant deadline to file circuit court motion

    Wednesday, October 01, 2025
    Claimants must file a motion with the circuit court by October 1, 2025. The motion should outline the specific basis for the claimant's asserted interest in some or all of the remaining proceeds, including the claimant's interest in the property immediately before its foreclosure.
